Neutral doesn’t have to mean ordinary.

For this master bedroom in our City Walk show apartment, we worked with a soft, timeless palette designed to appeal effortlessly while still carrying a distinct designer touch.

A custom desk doubles as a dresser, keeping the space functional without adding visual clutter, while the integrated TV unit is layered against a richly textured wallpaper to bring depth and quiet character to the room.

The result is calm, sophisticated and considered — a bedroom that feels luxurious without trying too hard.

When our approached us to execute a teenager’s room, we wanted it to feel grown-up without losing personality. The green palette keeps the space calm, while the illuminated arch adds a stronger architectural moment. We built the desk into the joinery to give plenty of storage without making the room feel heavy subtle in colour, but bold in its details.

Let me reintroduce myself.

I’m Kadambari, Creative Director and Founder of Kad Designs. Alongside my husband, I’ve built our design studio with a shared passion for creating thoughtful, highly personalised interiors. We also have our own manufacturing capabilities, allowing us to bring custom designs to life and ensure that every detail is made to our clients’ specifications and our vision.

For us, interior design is a luxury journey one that is considered, collaborative and tailored to you. It is not a one-size-fits-all process, and while DIY can be rewarding, creating a truly bespoke, cohesive and elevated space often requires the expertise, experience and guidance of a professional designer.

If you value luxury, custom details and a home that feels uniquely yours, Kad Designs may be the right fit for you. We would love to help bring your vision to life.

No makeup tutorials here, and definitely no fashion influencing 😬 But one thing I do understand as an interior designer is lighting and good lighting can completely change the way you get ready.

For this vanity, our team custom-made the mirror with three different lighting modes, designed to illuminate the face evenly and help you see how your makeup actually looks under different tones of light. No harsh shadows, no guessing, and a much better chance of getting the glam right.

Because sometimes good makeup starts with good design.

Designing for children is perhaps one of the most creative aspects of what designers can do— it gives us the freedom to play with colour, form and imagination.

For this bedroom, we wanted to create something playful without making it feel temporary. Every element was thoughtfully designed so the space feels exciting for a child today, yet can beautifully grow with them over the next five to seven years.

From the colour palette to the proportions and functionality, every detail was considered — and all the bespoke joinery was designed, manufactured and executed entirely in-house by KAD Designs.

We also made conscious material choices throughout, including the use of low- and zero-VOC paints, helping create a healthier indoor environment for a space where children spend so much of their time.

Playful, practical and made to grow with them — exactly how we believe children’s spaces should be designed.

Not just a kitchen a space designed around everyday family life.

A place for slow breakfasts, quick meals, conversations, kids, and the little moments in between. We introduced a round dining table, banquette seating, a buffet and an integrated TV — creating a relaxed corner where the family can sit together, catch up over breakfast, watch something they love, or simply spend time in the same space.

Because the best kitchens aren’t designed only for cooking. They’re designed for living.

Kinda chic that I design spaces for a living.

Kinda chic that I design the furniture too.

Kinda chic that I also fly planes.

Kinda chic that I built a business with my husband.

Kinda chic that I’m doing all of this with a five-month-old baby.

Kinda chic that our work gets recognized along the way.

Kinda chic that all of this happened before 40.

Dark. Moody. Intentional.

A bar designed to feel less like a feature and more like an experience , rich materials, layered lighting, deep tones and bespoke details coming together to create a space that feels intimate, sophisticated and unapologetically bold.

Because the best entertaining spaces should have a personality of their own.
