Sherbet was rarely served without ceremony. Across homes and courts alike, decorated cups, engraved metalware, and elegant pouring vessels reflected the regard with which one received guests.

At Chahar Bagh, we continue this sensibility through objects designed for these gestures. The beauty of these rituals carries through in the designs that accompany them, where presentation is an extension of the offering itself.

This is Taur, where serving in style becomes an expression of welcome.

In the East, refreshment has long been entwined with hospitality. Sherbet was never merely a drink to quench thirst, but an offering, prepared for guests, shared during celebrations, and always served in style.

From Mughal miniatures to Pahadi paintings, moments of serving sherbet and other cooling beverages made their way to art, revealing customs that shaped everyday life.

A glass of sherbet promised sweetness and respite, reflecting an instinct to offer comfort.

This is Taur, where nourishment and generosity are an act of welcome.

There is generosity in how you lay out a spread.

Marble platters with semi-precious stones, handcrafted brass, hand-blown glass, 24k gold detailing — these are materials that carry meaning. Rooted in craft traditions, they bring ceremony to the simplest gathering, a reminder that how you host is part of the celebration itself.

Dress and adornment have long marked the significance of an occasion. Jewellery, textiles, and festive attire became part of how gatherings were distinguished from everyday life, carrying associations of celebration, hospitality, and ritual.

Our apparel collections draw from this context, featuring flowing silhouettes, delicate embroideries, and the finest textiles, alongside a curation of Amrapali fine jewellery.

Through the Mughal era, zenanas and private courtyards formed an integral part of domestic and cultural life. Here, women gathered in celebration as much as community, sharing rituals of dressing, music, and conversation.

These spaces may look different today, but the tradition endures. Because women have always carried forward rituals and memories through collective gatherings.

In Dubai, where cultures meet and traditions continue to evolve, Eid remains a celebration of togetherness.

These moments of warmth and welcome are why rituals of hosting continue to endure. And these are
the moments for which we design.

Gilded coffee cups that pass from hand to hand, apparel and jewellery that illuminate festive gatherings, serveware that reflects the generosity of the season — together create a sense of occasion around gatherings.
