Sometimes, no matter how much heart, time, and faith we pour into something, it asks us to let go.
October Avenue began as a storytelling & wellness project and grew into something deeply personal — handmade, intentional, and built with care. It connected me with remarkable artisans, generous supporters, and a community that believed in the beauty of small, meaningful things. For that, I will always be grateful.
One of the hardest moments of 2025 was deciding to close October Avenue. I didn’t take that decision lightly. I questioned myself, replayed every “what if,” and sat with the feeling of failure longer than I should have. But I’ve learned that not everything we release is a loss.
This chapter taught me that growth isn’t always about pushing forward. Sometimes it’s about listening, accepting, and allowing things to evolve — or end — with grace.
As I step into 2026, I’m ready to fully let go. October Avenue is officially closed, but this page will remain open as a core memory — a reminder of passion, grit, community, and the courage it takes to build something from nothing.
Thank you for being part of this journey, in ways big and small. I hope that somewhere along the way, October Avenue left you with something that made your life feel a little softer, warmer, or more intentional.
With love and gratitude, always.
