Second Empire Style Composition Marginal Mirror. A very fine French Louis XVI Style composition marginal wall Mirror. This huge mirror is decorated with flower and leaves foliage depicting cupids playing in delicately rectangular frame of scroll-work and lovebirds. Made in France, circa 1900.

ANTIQUE: French " War & Peace" Bronze Sculpted Mantel Clock. A magnificent French Louis XVI style ormolu "A GUERRE ET LA PAIX " means "War and Peace " massif mantel clock, circa 1860. It has marked CH. Matifat - a well known French bronze caster. One of the most prominent art makers in Paris in the mid-nineteenth century.

It has marble top and gilt-bronze mounts made by Francois Linke, Paris, late 19th century. Linke was a leading Parisian French cabinet maker.
