I think of texture as a territory of transformation.

In this series, I’m interested in exploring the possibilities of matter and the unexpected forms it can take when the system containing it changes. I work with biomaterials exposed to different conditions of pressure, contact, time, and proximity, observing how the same texture can expand, rupture, reorganize, or drift into new states.

The works in Textures of Becoming unfold through different registers: installations, prints, and AI-generated videos created with a model trained on scans of these same materials and my own conceptual language.

I’m presenting my new series The Texture of Becoming at Stanford University! ❤️
The work emerges from sustained observation: how organic matter transforms under different conditions, time, touch, context and proximity.
Over the past months, I traced textures through their different states of life. Not to explain their change, but to attend to it. To document how the same matter takes unpredictable forms depending on where it rests, what surrounds it, what it touches.
The exhibition gathers this matter in three registers: in matrices, preserved between glasses, and rerouted through an AI model I trained with my own language. The interesting thing is that the model receives no visual instructions, only concepts it knows. It generates speculatively futures that matter could have taken.

My artwork is part of ‘Hidden Currencies: Water Justice in the Age of AI’ — an exhibition launching during SF Climate Week — exploring water as a living medium that sustains life and drives technological innovation. Presented by the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco, the show and a related programming series brings together artists, scientists, Indigenous knowledge holders, and climate activists to confront the hidden costs of water in our world.

After a few months of exploration, I want to share my new series. This work represents a search for the refinement of my language through experimenting with organic materials that change and adapt to different spaces and conditions. I document these processes, capturing moments that are part of an ongoing transformation.

The piece I present here is part of a system where the material and the digital intersect. From these records, I develop a generative AI model trained on my own visual archive, allowing that language to continue evolving into new forms.
This instance presents the documentation of an initial stage of the process. It shows the material matrix that serve as the basis for generating images and video sequences, revealing the physical origin of this evolving language.
Part of this work will be exhibited at the 87th Annual Art & Photography Exhibit at , California

This exhibition presents an early stage of the project. In the coming days, I will announce the full body of work, which will be exhibited at Stanford University ❤️

Terminé Ignite!
Apliqué al programa perfecto para mí en este momento, el cual me dio herramientas de forma muy precisa cómo entender mi camino como artista emprendedora, cómo se construye valor, cómo se toman decisiones cuando hay incertidumbre y muchísimo más.
Durante estos meses y trabajé con fundadores, investors, ingenieros, computer scientists e investigadores, entendiendo problemas reales. Aprendí a pensar distinto, a no enamorarme de una idea, a diseñar siendo ridícula y espontánea, a darle valor a mi creatividad, aprendí a leer mi negocio, encontré foco y entusiasmo.
Pero mi mejor aprendizaje acá fue entender el valor de compartir mis proyectos e ideas, a escuchar la de otros, pedir feedback de profesores y mentores, y también buscar aportar desde mi experiencia. Descubrí que puedo hacer más que solo expresarme con el arte y empecé a explorar Arte Generativo con AI y Biomateriales.
En paralelo, empecé mi propia investigación sobre el mercado del arte, que sigo desarrollando. Estoy entrevistando artistas y galeristas de Argentina, España y Estados Unidos que generosamente colaboraron compartiendo su experiencia y seguiré sumando charlas. Lo que voy encontrando es claro, falta transparencia en los precios, no existen benchmarks reales, y la fricción entre quienes producen obra y quienes la comercializan y los coleccionistas que es un tema que me está apasionando.
Esto es recién el principio. En las próximas semanas voy a ir compartiendo lo que encontré.

"I Decided 1123" es mi última obra. Es una intervención de una pintura que realicé en el año 2013. En este lienzo plasmo dos momentos de mi vida que se contrastan en todos los sentidos, ya que la primera versión fue la expresión de mi máximo dolor y oscuridad, y esta que vemos hoy, es mi versión radiante y llena de orgullo.
