Someone once messaged me saying my work was “admirable and enviable.”
I appreciated it – but it also made me think.
Is it? Is it really enviable?

Honestly, it’s just repetition.
I do this every day, for years now.
Thousands of times, the same movements.

I don’t aim for perfection, and I’m not trying to be “the best.”
It’s simply practice – and love for the making.

I love what I do.
But there’s nothing to envy.

It's been a while and since there are a lot of new faces on here we thought it'd be a good time to re-introduce ourselves 👋 hi, we're Petra and Oliver, the ceramists behind PandO Ceramics. What started out as a drunk idea turned into us opening our first workshop a year ago 🥹 Our pottery journey started during the first covid lockdown and was supposed to be a hobby - until our basement was overflowing with all the things we'd made and what began as a hobby turned out to be a huge passion. We decided to go the official way, took the right training and here we are. Four years later, we're selling our handmade tableware and decoration in our store in Hallein near Salzburg, we've had the immense pleasure of doing custom orders for renowned restaurants and hotels, we've met a bunch of amazing people that can share all of this with and there are so many things happening at the moment that we can't wait to tell you about very soon. Thank you for sharing this journey with us 🏺
