FAIT MAIZ offers bespoke rustic wooden furniture specialising in reusing old whiskey/bourbon barrels. The large Bar-rel is a solid oak whiskey cask (30+ years old), freshly emptied, lovingly refurbished and individually customised into a drinks cabinets.

Every artwork has its own journey.

Some come to life in a day. Others take months. This one took almost a year. I know..

Life gets in the way. Ideas evolve. You learn, you adapt, and sometimes you have to put the brush down for a while. That’s okay.

The mountain doesn’t disappear because you turned back. When the conditions are right, you climb again and you reach the summit.

Art is no different.

This painting was worth the wait, and I’m proud of where the journey led.

The beginning of something special. 🔥

The first Balzak Brothers gathering is in the books, and with it, the birth of GRILLFEST.

For two days we grilled almost nonstop, shared stories, raised a few drams, and together created a one-of-a-kind artwork inspired by Roel Gilbert ‘sfavourite wh**ky of all time.

The best part? Everyone left their mark on the canvas. Every brushstroke carries a memory, making this piece a tribute to Gilly, his friends, and a weekend that deserves another chapter. Martijn Trijsburg Jill Duckers
