Sometimes I still stop and stare at these spinning Sodai like a child who accidentally discovered magic in geometry... Lithuanian Sodai, part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, are delicate handmade straw ornaments created to bring harmony, light, and abundance into the home. But somewhere along the way, they became something more for me. A pause, a rhythm, a quiet form of meditation made from straw, air, patience, and movement. The way they slowly spin in the light, balancing themselves so softly, always reminds me that beauty does not need to shout to be deeply felt...

In my little atelier, somewhere between moss, dried flowers, and creative chaos, these Sodai find their balance and gently share it with the room. If you'd like to create one for yourself, the last workshop dates before my little break are already waiting for you 😉

✨ The circles are intentionally small. I love when the workshop feels less like an event and more like a gathering: a few people, a shared table, natural materials, quiet conversations, and the gentle rhythm of creating together. That is why the number of places is limited.

Have a DooBeeDoo day 💚

A little universe spinning quietly, made out of straw, light, balance, and centuries of tradition dancing together in the soft air of my cozy creative corner. Meet SODAI, handcrafted Lithuanian tradition, made of natural materials for a mindful living and those who believe a home should feel calm, poetic, and alive.

Every Sodai carries a rhythm of slow hands, patient making, and the beauty of sacred geometry suspended in motion.

A mirror, a spinning dream catcher, hanging Sodai, dried flowers, creative chaos, unfinished ideas and somewhere in between it all me. Sometimes I think every creative space slowly becomes a reflection of the person creating inside it. A little wild, a little messy, full of movement, textures, thoughts, and things waiting to come alive...

This tiny Atelier holds my handmade worlds of floral dream catchers, Lithuanian Sodai (also known as Himmeli in other traditions), moss art, natural materials, and quiet moments that somehow become part of the process too.

Maybe creativity is not about finding a perfect order. Maybe it’s about learning how to dance beautifully with the chaos. Would you like to find a harmony? My workshops are waiting for you!

Have a DooBeeDoo day 💚

Does your work ever make you dance too? 😂 Early morning in my Atelier with music playing somewhere in the background, Sodai spinning slowly, moss everywhere, and me checking the last details of a frame through the mirror reflection.

And honestly… sometimes I can’t tell if I move the air and make the Sodai spin, or if the spinning Sodai somehow creates motion energy here 😂 Anyway, I share a small moment from my little world of moss, reflections, moving straw, quiet joy, and hands (and feet! 🐾) that apparently can’t stay still when they love what they do. A little bit of Lithuanian Sodai, handmade moss art, slow mornings, and some dancing before the day properly begins. But who said that it didn't? 😆

Can tradition still exist in modern life? Not in museums, not behind glass, but in your hands. In quiet moments, in something you create yourself.

Sodai, part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, are delicate geometric forms made from straw. They bring balance, rhythm, and a sense of calm through simple, repetitive making.

This workshop is not about perfection. It’s about slowing down. Breathing. Letting your hands guide you.

No experience needed. Just curiosity.

Come on your own, or share this time with someone you love. It’s a beautiful gift too — for you and your mum, a friend, or anyone who values time together.

If you feel drawn to it,
you can register via the link in my bio
or simply send me a message 🤍

Does it resonate with you? Too much or not enough, too loud or too quiet... Somewhere between all these voices we forget how to simply be. This is where my work begins. With hands, with natural materials, with quiet repetition, with time and space to return to yourself.

These Lithuanian heritage Sodai, part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, are more than forms made of straw, they are balance, they are stillness in motion, they are a gentle reminder that harmony doesn’t come from fitting in, but from finding your own rhythm.

And maybe, like nature, this moment is not here to tell you who to be. Just to let you breathe.

While my hands were creating this piece,
this poem of Becky Hemsley stayed with me.

A small room. Soft light. Everything prepared, waiting for hands, stories, and quiet moments of creation. This is where we will meet.

Sodai (Himmeli) are delicate geometric straw ornaments, once created to invite harmony, abundance, and good harvests into the home. Light, balanced, almost floating — they remind us that beauty can be simple, and meaningful at the same time.

In this workshop, you will create your own Sodai piece, step by step, in a calm and welcoming space.

Some things are not meant to stand still. They move. They breathe. They find their balance in motion. Sodai (Himmeli) is like that. A quiet dance of geometry, light, and air. Spinning gently, reminding us that harmony is never fixed… it is felt.

I’m opening the doors to create this together.

✨ Workshop time slots:

Morning Ritual | 07:30–10:00
for those who love to start the day earlier, in silence, softness, and first light (and yes… to be the first 😂)

Creative Morning | 09:30–12:00
for those who enjoy slow mornings, coffee in hand, easing into creativity step by step

Evening Meditation | 18:00–20:30
for those who want to unwind,
let the day settle, and create in a calm, grounding rhythm

If your hands are curious and your mind is ready to slow down,
this might be your moment.

Would you join this quiet dance?

Some things don’t ask to be kept, they simply stay. Like moss finding its place, softly, persistently, growing where it feels something.

Not everything we hold needs a name, not everything we feel needs to be resolved. Sometimes it’s just there. And somehow… it becomes part of us.

This piece came together the same way. Layer by layer, quietly, intuitively.

Handmade moss frame in progress. Nature-inspired wall art, organic textures, slow design, quiet beauty. Could you fall in love with something this quiet?

Sometimes new beginnings come with clarity. One deep breath, clear glass, clear reflection.

If it feels loud in your mind lately, pause. Let the silt settle. Let the water clear. You are going to be okay.

From my perspective, when all seemed like a mess, these same hands followed the idea and somehow they led me here. My new atelier. New light. Space for something new.

To all the girls building their own light — we can do it.
