How fast can you shape soft light? ⏱
We gave ourselves one task: soft light on the chair, and keep it off the background.
The classic way, with frame and flags, took 28 seconds and an extra stand.
With CRLS reflectors, it was done in 6 seconds. The soft light is shaped right at the source, so there's no spill to flag off.
Less rigging, more time for the shot.
Send this to someone who shapes soft light every day.

Manuel Billeter, ASC, ci ha chiesto un riflettore più grande per The Gilded Age.
Così abbiamo costruito un sistema: il C-100 Grid System. Qualsiasi dimensione, qualsiasi forma.
Yoke off, grid on. Funziona con ogni C-100 che avete già.
Prima occhiata al CineVerse Roma · 16–17 ottobre · Stand H2 di Imagine Light
Mandalo a un gaffer che deve vederlo a Roma.

Manuel Billeter, ASC, asked for a bigger reflector for The Gilded Age.
So we built a system: the C-100 Grid System. Any size, any shape.
Yoke off, grid on. Works with every C-100 you already own.
First look at CineVerse Rome · Oct 16–17 · Imagine Light Booth H2
Send this to a gaffer who should see it in Rome.

Speedbag or protection pads? How to protect a C-100 reflector on set.
Bags are for moving: padded protection against bumps and hits, waterproof, and they keep moisture off the reflector.
Shooting near saltwater or in high humidity? Always store in bags.
Pads are for working: they stop the back from getting scratched when rigging on truss or moving near trees.
On cranes, always secure the pads with bungees.
How do you use your bags and pads? Tell us in the comments.

C100 Protections pads VS C100 Speedbags 🤩
Which one do you choose ?

Small C-100 details make long shooting days easier. 🎬
🪢 4 rope holes so you can run sash through
🔒 Lock levers that keep the friction where you set it, however often you tilt the reflector
Set the friction. Add ropes. And up we go. ⬆️
Have a great shooting day!
