So we now have a new piece to join the family. 😜 This bookshelf looks much better after a fresh coat of paint and clear coat.

After much deliberation and open discussions with a 5 year old girl, this was the end result. This all came about with Charlotte wanting to restore her own piece of furniture, with seeing me constantly upcycling, she wanted a piece of the action. So I did a lot of scouting around on the pages we found the perfect dresser for her first project.. she desperately wanted me to do some sort of theme so we gave her a pineapple ($50) and off to we went. Once Charlotte decided on the colours, we had to get the paint tinted meanwhile chatting the store down 🤣. Was quite the adventure!

And here is the end results. I'm really happy with the way this coffee table turned out.. When I took delivery of this piece, it was trashed. The doors didn't close properly, the original stain varnish and wood was chipped dented and even eaten on the corners but with a bit of TLC this was the outcome.. here is another piece to add to the portfolio. 😃

This tabletop was badly scratched up from overuse and bad treatment.

Sanded the entire piece back to wood and refinished it with quality paint and voila
