I’m incredibly honoured to share that I’ve been named a finalist in the InDaily 2026 40 Under 40 Awards South Australia. 🖤
To be recognised for the work I do through The Rundle Collective and within the broader arts community honestly means the world.
What started as a small idea of creating an affordable, inclusive, and welcoming creative space, has grown into a thriving community of over 50 artists, makers, designers, photographers, illustrators, ceramicists, filmmakers, and creatives from all walks of life.
Over the past few years, we’ve built something that goes far beyond studio spaces.
We’ve created:
✨ Affordable creative studios in the heart of Adelaide
✨ Exhibition and gallery opportunities for emerging artists
✨ Community-led events and workshops
✨ Mentorship and support for creatives building sustainable careers
✨ Safe, accessible, and inclusive spaces where people genuinely feel like they belong
The arts sector can often feel financially and emotionally difficult to navigate, especially for emerging creatives. Creating spaces where artists feel supported, valued, and connected has always been at the centre of everything I do.
This recognition is not just for me, it’s for every creative who has trusted us, supported us, collaborated with us, attended an exhibition, rented a studio, volunteered their time, or simply believed in the vision of community-driven arts spaces.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my journey so far, especially our incredible creatives, collaborators, friends, family, and co-founder and incredible husband Nicholas Sharples. None of this would exist without the people who continue to show up and believe in what we are building together.
Here’s to continuing to advocate for accessible arts spaces, creative opportunities, and a stronger future for South Australia’s creative industries. 🖤
Huge thanks also goes out to the amazing Renew Adelaide team for taking a chance on a little ADHD artist who wanted to create a community!
