Warm-up doesn’t always mean we need more go.

Some horses arrive with plenty of that already—sometimes it feels like you have an F1 car beside you!

For those horses, the aim is often to:
👍 Help the body feel ready for work
👍 Encourage relaxation
👍 Avoid training with tension present

Bringing a horse back into work is a lesson in patience.

Five or ten good minutes are worth far more than half an hour of tired, unbalanced work.

Equiband can be a useful addition to a gradual return-to-work program, giving the horse a gentle cue to think about the core, back and hindquarters while you keep the actual work simple.

Start slowly, watch the horse in front of you and build from there.

You know a piece of equipment has become part of the routine when the horses take themselves straight to it after work 😆
