The White Orchid was established in 2008 by Kyla Helgeson, a business owner of 18 years and a floral designer with 20+ years of experience specialising in weddings + events. We deliver wedding + event florals to Adelaide CBD and surrounding suburbs, including the stunning Adelaide Hills, as far north as the beautiful Barossa/Clare Valley regions and as far south as beachside Port Elliot/Currency C

reek. Our online store of popular wedding + event floral designs from The White Orchid extensive portfolio, provides the easiest and quickest way to see our pricing and order flowers for your wedding + event. We have a love of local and prefer to use flowers grown in Australia whenever possible. Imported blooms are off-set through our commitment to planting trees on our business journey to being sustainable and becoming carbon neutral.

Thank you for the lovely bouquet!

After 18 incredible years it is time, to say goodbye to The White Orchid Floral Design.

This business has been my heart and soul — my first “baby”. It’s seen me through so many seasons, allowed me to create beauty, share in love stories, and meet the most amazing people along the way.

The past few years have been challenging beyond words, but also full of lessons, resilience, and growth. Letting go is bittersweet, but I know it's for the best. My final wedding will take place in February, and with that, this chapter will gently close.

To every couple who trusted me with their vision, every freelancer, grower/supplier and venue who stood by me — thank you. You helped me turn a dream into something truly special.

And to my husband, family and friends — your love, patience, and support through late nights, early mornings, and busy weekends meant everything. I couldn’t have done it without you.

I leave proud, grateful, and full of love for all the moments and memories made along the way. Creativity will always remain at the centre of who I am. I look forward to new beginnings, inspired by all that this journey has given me.

My name is Kyla Helgeson and I own The White Orchid Floral Design, a boutique wedding and event florist based in Adelaide, successfully operating for 10 years! Overall, I have been a florist for 15 years. As a floral designer, I work with engaged couples and corporate clients who need high quality flowers for their wedding/event in Adelaide.
