Remembrance day marks the day World War One ended - at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, in 1918.

Originally known as Armistice Day, it was renamed Remembrance Day after World War Two to commemorate those who were killed in both World Wars.

Every year at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions around the world pause in silence to remember the sacrifices many have made so we can enjoy life today.

We will remember them. Lest we forget.
