Little story time from the flower shop 😂

A driver came to pick up flowers and because we were so busy, I handed over all the arrangements without double checking.

Ten minutes later… realised he wasn’t even my driver. Instant panic. No contact details, not in my system, and not enough flowers left in the shop to remake everything either 🫠

Had to message customers one by one, but honestly I’m so grateful we always seem to meet the kindest people. Thank you for being so understanding and making a very stressful moment feel a lot less scary 🤍

It feels like we blinked and Mother’s Day season was suddenly over 🌷

We’ve been so busy lately that I still have ANZAC Day photos sitting in my camera roll waiting to be posted. The shop has just been nonstop these past few weeks, and Mother’s Day was honestly one of the busiest days we’ve ever had. By the end of yesterday, almost everything was gone.

What made me laugh a little afterwards was realizing that so many of my favourite bouquets from this Mother’s Day never even got photographed — they were picked up or delivered before I had the chance. I guess that’s the beauty of flowers sometimes… they don’t stay long, they just go straight into someone’s hands and homes 🤍

Thank you so much for all the support, orders, kind messages and love for our little business. It genuinely means the world to us and reminds us why we do this in the first place.

Our hearts are very full (and very tired 😂) after this week. Truly, thank you for keeping Pretty Petals blooming 🌸
