Realm specialises in Mid Century Australian furniture by makers such as Parker, Fler, Moderntone, Grant Featherston, T.H. Brown, Danish Deluxe, Chatley, Clement Meadmore, Tessa and Chiswell, but also have rare pieces from overseas including Scandinavia, America and the U.K.

💚Loving this newly finished chair we just brought in today! 💚 Danish designed and made, with a beautiful contoured plywood shell, and lovely little Beech arms and legs. It reminds us a lot of a Featherston R152 chair, but with timber arms! Brand new woollen upholstery in a vibrant jungle green. A really unique, comfortable, well made chair with a great pop of colour! ✨ We’ve not seen another one 🦄

✨ Fresh in! ✨ Rare GPlan Teak extension table in beautiful condition! Made in the UK and shipped over by original owners, the top has just been stripped and refinished, looks fantastic!

Pairs well with the set of 6 Danish Illums Bolighus chairs shown here, as they have the same long tapered ‘cigar’ legs and colouring. Available as a suite or separately of course.

✨ New in! ✨ Lovely restored FLERLINE lounge suite newly upholstered in Warwick ‘Slate’. In fantastic condition, with new webbing, new foam and the original rattan is perfect, which is rare! Generous 4 seater with the two matching armchairs. Haven’t tackled a full suite for a while and very happy with how this one turned out ✨ ✨

Back in outback NSW again and had to return to the classic Bell’s Milk Bar in Broken Hill! 🚀 If you ever come through the Silver City make sure you call in to this little time capsule of a diner. Standing since the mid 50s, it really hasn’t changed and not only is it the best milkshake you will ever have, it’s like a museum of 1950s Australia, with all original hand painted murals and furniture still there! Well worth a visit. 🚀🍦🚀🍦🚀🍦

That curvy facade, the external stairs and original, tiled feature wall.. there’s a lot to like at 4 Nola Ct!! 😍 Located in Toorak (Vic) this old beauty is loaded with original features, like the carved internal folding doors and amazing joinery… built in 1963 and designed by husband and wife architects Holgar & Holgar, it must’ve been quite a standout, high end house in its day, well ahead of its time.

Born in Poland and studying architecture in Rome, the pair arrived in Australia in 1952. By the late 50s, their small firm was known for designing luxurious houses across Melbourne’s leafy eastern suburbs, this being one of them.

Last sold back in 2016, for a cool $4m, the house was granted ‘interim heritage controls’ in 2022 after some local lobbying to protect it. Sadly these controls have now lapsed and this fine example of Australian modernism is no longer protected. 😔

Early last year, the house was listed again as a potential development site with a hefty $6.6m dollar price tag - I’m not sure what has happened since but hopefully this old gem is still standing. 💎🤞

✨ Just in! ✨ Fantastic UK made Teak highboard by GPLAN. Produced in the late 60s as part of the ‘Fresco’ range, this lovely unit was purchased new and bought out to Australia by the original owners in the early 70s. Where it lived in the one house and has been cared for ever since. Presents in amazingly good condition with all original features intact, such as cutlery drawer, drop front bar cabinet and internal shelving. A lovely thing and a rare piece here in Australia.
