Was the outfit planned? Absolutely. 😂✨

One of the questions I was asked about this event was, “Did you plan her outfit to match the setup?”

The answer is yes. 💜

For me, beautiful events don’t happen by accident. Every detail is thoughtfully considered — from the colour palette, florals, draping, signage, cake, and even the overall atmosphere we want guests to feel when they walk into the room.

The goal is always the same: to create a celebration that feels like you.

Seeing our gorgeous birthday girl blend so effortlessly into the space made my heart so happy because it meant every detail came together exactly as envisioned.

Soft pastels, delicate florals, beautiful textures, and the sweetest ambience for 40th birthday.

Every detail was intentionally curated to create something elegant, personal, and unforgettable. Nothing was random, every flower placement, colour tone, and styling detail was thoughtfully layered together to create a moment that felt both luxurious and personal.

Watching it all come together so beautifully will always be my favourite parts of event styling.

Layers upon layers of rich velvet draping, bold florals, and the sweetest little details brought this setup to life so beautifully.

I wanted this design to feel warm, romantic, luxurious, and full of personality — from the soft cascading folds to the vibrant pops of pink and yellow dancing through every arrangement.

One thing about me? I’ll always fall in love with texture, colour, and florals that make a space feel unforgettable.

This setup was such a dream to create. Proof that sometimes the magic happens when you stop playing it safe and just create.

Nobody talks enough about the pack-down struggle 😂

POV: you’ve just created the most beautiful setup known to mankind… then it’s time to pack it all down and suddenly every vase weighs 47kg.

The glamorous side of event styling:
✨ the flowers
✨ the candles
✨ the pretty tablescapes
✨ the “OMG THIS IS STUNNING” moments

The unglamorous side:
🙂 carrying 726 items back into the trailer at midnight
🙂 untangling extension cords
🙂 trying not to cry while holding drapes
🙂 asking yourself whose idea this career was in the first place

But somehow… we still wake up the next day ready to do it all over again because bringing beautiful spaces to life will forever have our hearts.

I think we might love pink a little too much over here… but honestly, can you blame us? 🎀🌸

Nothing excites me more than a client saying “we’re thinking pink” because immediately my brain starts imagining bows, florals, candles, ribbons and 47 unnecessary but absolutely essential pink details 😂

At this point, pink isn’t just a colour… it’s a lifestyle 💅🏽
