I have been given a challenge that will definitely take me out of my comfort zone. I have been asked to produce an Antarctic themed chessboard and pieces. Doable, but a lot of carving! Will keep you posted re: my progress.

My very first chessboard and pieces. My original design. I didn't want to turn all the chess pieces, due to the extra time it would take to make, so I designed a more angular type of chess pieces. I live how dark the jarrah pieces came put, and how the horses and castles turned out. Yay! A lot of work, but a lot of fun to make.
