I guess you could call this post a soft launch of pivoting this business, just slightly. Or a lot. I don’t have the answers yet. Ideas on the other hand, I have plenty. I do know that I’m not where I’d like to be. And I’m going to change that.

This could be recency bias, but I think I get more comments now from people (often other stallholders at markets) implying that I don’t know what I’m doing because I’m young compared to when I had the cafe. My age has always been a thing. And while I agree that opening a cafe at 22 is young (and impressive, I think!), I certainly don’t think I’m ‘young’ to be doing what I do now. What age are we considering ‘old enough’ to be owning a business? Perhaps it’s the perception of me posting a lot on social media? A young girl who posts videos of herself online? Surely she doesn’t know what she’s doing!
