I have always been quirky, lets say a little bit weird and always the creative sort. Cake designing and creating is something where I can bring my art and thoughts to life. I haven't always baked, I cant say I have been in the kitchen since I was a young girl. but I

can say I've always been a foodie! I love to try new things and indulge in the finer things now and then. Miss Sugar Bliss came to life only a year or so ago. I was asked to create and bake for a special birthday, the rest is history as they say. My passion for all things sweet was ignited in 2019 when I was fortunate enough to obtain a grant to complete a Certificate IV in Patisserie at Tafe, what an opportunity and what a year! One of the best years of my life. Before Miss Sugar Bliss was born I had a thriving career in a totally different field in which I also loved. But the Universe had other plans for me when I unfortunately got sick and now I live with a permanent disability. However, I wont let it stop me, it just means I have to work a little harder to do what I truly love. Focus on your ability not your disability. The name Sugar Bliss came from a dream my mum had many many years ago, the dream was about me owning a Cake shop called Sugar Bliss. I know that dream happened for a reason so the name Sugar Bliss is what it just had to be. Creating edible art is something I love to do. I like my cake and desserts to be unique, not only in design but also in flavour. Where I can, I will source and support local suppliers and local small business-from ingredients, cake toppers, florals, business cards to cake supplies and so much more.
