FABRIC FOLDERS WANTED!

We've got mountains of fabric at ReCraft Collective, and we need some helping hands to sort, measure and fold it ready for its next creative home!

Love fabric? Have an hour or two to spare? No special skills needed, just a willingness to lend a hand and enjoy some good company.

Come for an hour or fold for the day!

Monday 10am–2pm
Tuesday–Friday 10am–4pm
Saturday 10am–2pm

Looking for a sewing machine or overlocker? Don’t forget to have a fossick at ReCraft Collective!
We have reconditioned sewing machines available, giving quality machines another opportunity to keep stitching rather than going to waste. Each machine has been serviced at The Empty Bobbin and is ready for its next creative home.
Come in, see what’s available and give a pre-loved machine its next chapter!

We’re bursting at the seams with fabric!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, ReCraft Collective is FULL of fabric — and we mean FULL!

For now, we’re unable to accept any more fabric donations of any kind while we work through the mountains we already have.

Come along, lend your hands and help us make useful handmade items to donate to people and organisations in need within our community. Whether you sew, knit, crochet or simply want to help, there’s a way to get involved.
Share your skills, enjoy some creative company and help us turn craft into kindness.

A big thank you to our wonderful ReCraft Collective volunteers!
From sorting donations and organising the warehouse to helping customers, preparing stock, creating displays and supporting our Community Hub, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes at RCC.
We simply couldn’t do what we do without the time, energy and enthusiasm our volunteers give so generously. Thank you for helping us Reclaim, Reuse, Reimagine and ReCraft every day!

NEARLY 5 TONNES OF CRAFT — AND COUNTING!

Since 1 July, ReCraft Collective has received an incredible 4,864 kg of donated craft supplies from our community!

And look what we've achieved together!

730 kg of craft reclaimed through our Reclaim Store

248 kg reimagined into handmade community donations

146 kg of cardboard recycled

101 kg of plastic tubs reused

That leaves an amazing 3,557 kg of creative possibilities waiting to be reclaimed, reused, reimagined and ReCrafted!

And our wonderful warehouse volunteers have been busy too — preparing 475 items, processing donations, making kits and getting more crafty treasures ready for the shop floor.

Every donation, every purchase and every volunteer hour helps us keep valuable craft supplies out of landfill and give them another opportunity to be enjoyed.

Thank you to our amazing Albany community for making this possible!
