I see other artists online painting in their white linen shirts and immaculate hair. It always makes me in awe and wonder… Because I am not one of them. I am more the feral wild one with paint on her face. This is my palette at the end of the day. Believe it or not it’s not as chaotic as it looks .
Currently my commission list is rather long… and so I am busy and in the zone a lot. I will try to keep my posting momentum …… but as my prophetic commissions are not seen by the collector until they are finished, I don’t post any content from their making. But I still have some finished and for sale pieces that I haven’t posted yet that will be up soon….

Yielded to burn
Surrender supplies the oxygen that fans the flames of desire.

I’ve had a pretty productive day. Sent off a prophetic commission and finished off a few bits and bobs. After my last post, I decided to do some smallish abstract pieces, so have made a start on some backgrounds. Well beginnings at least. Watch this space..

We recently returned from Deutschland visiting friends and family. Whilst there we visited these amazing caves in Thuringia. They were once underground mines active between 16th-19th century. Truely incredible . I learned they would mine all sorts of minerals from in there, including a pigment I use often in my paintings, yellow ochre. Was such a stunning sight and very inspirational to my creative mind. What you see here is half the reflection from the super clean water that flows through there. Surely some abstracts will flow throw my mind soon….
