Changing the papers in my press the first time is always enjoyable as it’s the first chance to see how the seaw**d has turned out. Occasionally it’s disappointing - if one of the specimens has bled colour onto the paper for instance - but most of the time it’s fascinating!
Each one gives me a renewed appreciation for how intricate, fragile & beautiful seaw**d is. 💕

I had such a great night at the on Friday night (Thanks to my sister for the invite 💕)

The opening short film, The Kelp Collector, really set the tone. It’s a beautiful story about a woman still diving and collecting seaw**d well into her 80s. Short, simple, and incredibly inspiring. It’s given me a fresh boost of motivation to keep sharing just how important seaw**d and our oceans are.

One line from the night that really hit:
“As humans, we need the planet to live… and the planet needs the ocean to survive.”
It all comes back to the ocean, and algae 💙

If you get the chance to see the film festival, I’d highly recommend it!
