Ever made a garment that looked amazing on the pattern but didn’t quite fit once made.

Join us for our upcoming Fitting Your Shape class — a 3-week introduction to pattern fitting, designed to help you create garments that are tailored to fit you🧵

Over the course of 3 weeks, you’ll learn how to:

📏 Take your individual measurements
👗 Match your measurements to the right pattern block
✂️ Adjust a bodice, skirt and sleeve block
🪡 Create a calico toile (test garment)
✨ Fit and refine your toile
📐 Create your own personalised pattern block
🧵 Learn how to compare your block with commercial patterns

Through this class you’ll take away the skills and confidence to stop guessing and start creating garments that are made to fit you.

Course details:
Commences from Tuesday 15 September @ 6pm
3 x 3 hour classes / $235

This introductory course is great for beginners where you will learn to thread a machine, understand different types of fabrics, read and lay out patterns learn to sew buttons and buttonholes and much more.

Our How to Read a Pattern class will give you the confidence to understand your pattern before you reach for the scissors!

Learn how to interpret pattern symbols, seam allowances, fabric requirements and essential pattern information—so you can start every sewing project with confidence and set yourself up for a beautifully crafted garment ✨

We have added some upcoming dates for our Jewellery making class which is an introduction to making jewellery with polymer clay. You’ll learn different techniques and take home what you make all whilst enjoying a fun evening and taking some time out.

Our Jewellery Making Class is the perfect experience for mothers & daughters, aunts & nieces, or friends wanting to spend time and create together. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design your own polymer clay earrings using techniques like marbling, stencilling, and texturing—all while enjoying a delicious supper.

🧵✨ Kids Sewing Course - School Holidays ✨🧵

We’re excited to share we have a fun and creative Sewing Course for children age 9-12 in the upcoming school holidays!

Over three engaging sessions, young makers will:
🪡 Learn how to safely use a sewing machine
🧵 Discover essential sewing techniques
🎨 Get creative decorating fabric
👜 Create their own small sewing projects

This course is run in a small group setting, making it the perfect place for kids to build confidence, learn new skills and make new friends. Participants are also welcome to bring a friend along!

You can bring your own sewing machine if you have one, or use one of ours — and all materials are provided.

Let their creativity shine and watch them bring their ideas to life! ✨
