I finally finished my first quilt!
I bought this simple square quilt pattern from Good to Sew. Last month, Anna from good to sew had a online weekly quilt along where I learnt lots of tips and tricks on making a quilt. It may not be perfect, but I had lots of fun learning the process.

Recently I decided to do something different and added some appliquéd images to these plain long sleeves shirt. Such a fun way to personalise some clothes.

Another project completed! 🧵🌼
I've collected quite a few beautiful kits and patterns from Marg Low Designs, and I finally decided it was time to make one! This sweet little thread roll was such an enjoyable hand-sewing project—both practical and beautiful. I love how it turned out! ❤️✂️

I completely forgot to share the gorgeous bundle I ordered from Good to Sew at the start of the month!
It included some construction themed fabrics from the CAT Junior collection, a remnant bundle packed with a fun mix of prints and patterns, and a quilt kit featuring a selection of Riley Blake Designs fabrics.
I've never actually made a quilt before, so I thought this kit would be the perfect project to get started. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

The change in weather means it’s time to bring out the beanies! We went yarn shopping last weekend and bought some “mermaid themed” coloured yarn.

Last weekend we had a craft-a-noon and decided to tie-dye some socks for winter.
We discovered the random approach was the best way to create the most interesting patterns! 🫟🧦🎨
