And just like that… they’re finished! ✨

From a simple print to two completely unique pieces of wall art — these beauties have had quite the transformation!

The ladies got creative with colour, working acrylic paints into their prints and even painting the matting to perfectly complement their designs. And I think you’ll agree… what a difference those little personal touches made!

But my favourite part?
Both beautiful artworks are being gifted to their daughters — making them not just handmade, but extra special.
I absolutely loved watching these creations come to life, and I think they’ve both done an amazing job!

Letting the timber tell the story🤎

This custom restoration brief was simple — keep it looking as natural as possible.

Lots of sanding, soda blasting and waxing have revealed the gorgeous natural tones and grain of the timber used to create this beautiful hallway stand.

Originally owned by the former owners of the Aloomba Pub, it now has a new chapter and will make a stunning statement in my customer’s home.

Two very different transformations are about to begin in the studio!

This beautiful solid-timber display cabinet, believed to be handmade around the 1950s, is staying close to its original character. I’m keeping the finish natural to showcase the gorgeous timber, craftsmanship and those beautiful textured glass doors.

Alongside it, my daughter Sara has plans for a complete transformation of this stunning Art Deco-era buffet, likely dating from the 1930s–40s. She’s turning it into a contemporary drinks cabinet while retaining some of its original features and adding a few modern touches of her own.

Two beautiful pieces with plenty of history — and two very different visions for their next chapter. Both will be available for purchase once they’re complete. Stay tuned 🙌
