Sara has been busy in the studio giving this pair of traditional timber bedsides a fabulous new look!

Gone is the dated timber finish, replaced with a gorgeous, rich berry tone that brings a contemporary feel to their classic shape.

Using Taubmans enamel paint, Sara has achieved a beautiful, smooth finish with a touch of luxury. The addition of brass k***s completes the look, adding just the right amount of elegance. ✨

A perfect example of how a little creativity and a fresh coat of paint can completely reinvent a piece of furniture!

- S O L D - Originally a small dining table sporting a very 90s Laminex-style finish, this solid timber piece has been completely transformed by my daughter Sara here in the studio. 🤎

Going for a contemporary Scandi-inspired look, Sara stripped the tabletop right back to reveal the beautiful natural timber, then created a custom paint wash using Pureco’s Fossil, Hessian and Brumby.

The sculptural base was finished in Brumby, a gorgeous rich slate brown that complements the soft, natural tones of the timber.

We love how versatile this piece is! Style it on its own or create a layered coffee table arrangement by pairing it with a smaller marble or stone table. Mixing timber and stone is a beautiful way to introduce contrasting textures and create a unique, contemporary look.

A little old, a little new & a style all her own!

Who says creating a beautiful space has to come with a big price tag?

My daughter recently refreshed her bedroom, mixing contemporary styling with second-hand finds and a few unique pieces she’s upcycled herself.

From inspiration to statement piece !

My customer had a vision for a statement coffee table for her new apartment, and this gorgeous turquoise cabinet was the inspiration.

I created a custom colour to capture that beautiful turquoise tone, then worked in black wax to add depth, character and a softly aged, well-loved look.

I love taking an inspiration image and using it to create something completely unique for a piece a customer already owns. And what a transformation this one has had!

A buffet with a whole new purpose 🌿

One of my favourite things about upcycling is reimagining furniture beyond what it was originally made for. With a little creativity, an older piece can be transformed to suit your home and the way you live.

This buffet was a custom piece for my customer, transformed into a beautiful extra kitchen bench with plenty of storage. I prepped it with Pureco Ecru Primer before finishing it in Acacia from the Pureco Silk range — a gorgeous soft green chosen by my customer, paired with warm gold hardware.

A beautiful new chapter for this Queensland Maple display cabinet! Available now for $750.

This gorgeous solid-timber piece is now complete, and I’m so happy with how it’s come together. I’ve kept the natural character of the timber, enhancing it with a custom-made tan wash and Pureco H**p Finishing Oil. Inside, Pureco Almond from the Silk range adds a soft, warm contrast, while the shelves feature the same tan wash and oil finish.

One of the original textured glass panels was broken, so I replaced it with a new piece of textured glass, giving this beautiful cabinet a fresh lease on life while retaining its original charm.

The beautiful glass doors, natural timber tones and soft interior make this such a versatile piece for displaying treasures, storing linen or adding character to any room.
