This is true. I remember making a ton of mistakes and having to recycle a lot of mistake. But something inside me wouldn’t let me give it up. There’s just something about sewing that I love.

I started over with simple patterns and learning that precision matters. And that seam ripping is not a Herculean task but rather our love for high quality made garments.

It’s takes time (maybe months or years) until you gain the confidence to wear the clothing you make yourself. And that’s ok. It’s just the process.

Love the process and the outcome will arrive.

This has got the be the easiest to sew minimal pattern yet. No gathers but I couldn’t resist some pleating for interest! 😝
