At Killen Furniture we create custom kitchens and specialise in bespoke timber furniture. Established in 2002 by Anthony Killen, Killen Furniture is locally owned and operated in Armidale NSW. We service the New England and Northern Tablelands and have commissioned tailored pieces throughout New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. At Killen Furniture we are passionate about creating unique and rewarding pieces for the home or business and pride ourselves on a high level of craftsmanship throughout the entire process, from design to the final product.

I cannot believe we are having to post this —

We wanted to make our friends, clients and community aware of a concerning situation we are currently dealing with.

An out-of-town bitumen company approached our business offering to repair potholes in the yard at our work premises. Following the work, we received what we believe to be an excessive invoice for work that we consider to be well below an acceptable standard. We advised that we were prepared to resolve payment once the issues with the work were rectified.

Since then, the representative we have been dealing with has become increasingly aggressive and has threatened to damage our business reputation by posting false negative reviews across our social media and online platforms, telling us that this is going to cost us.

We are genuinely shocked by the situation. If you happen to see any unusual, negative or potentially defamatory comments or reviews posted about Killen Furniture + Kitchens, we would be very grateful if you could screenshot them and let us know.

Two utterly stunning showrooms we visited during our trip to America. The materiality, joinery detailing and leatherwork — impeccable!

The New York Flagship Store for Molteni&C was incredible, showcasing liveable, luxury Italian design. We were particularly impressed with the robes fitout — next level 👌🏼

Poltroni Frau is a leatherwork specialist (we are talking the same leatherwork as Ferrari here) so each piece of joinery features some element of leatherwork detailing. So divine!

Our Argunna Project.

Thoughtful design and carefully considered materiality have the power to elevate every space. Seeing these decisions come to life during installation is always one of the most rewarding parts of the process.

The engineered stone has just been installed, and we’re so pleased with how it’s all coming together. This island is becoming the heart of the home, with beautiful proportions, subtle detailing and a timeless material palette that will serve this family for years to come.

We’re in the final stages now, and we can’t wait to share the finished result.
