I love dahlias but snails do too. Protecting our dahlias in spring when little and snails are active is important. But so is not poisoning our pets or native animals and birds. That is where a smoat comes in. Put it round your tiny plant, fill it with beer to create a snail trap that goes right around your plant and watch your plant flourish. Take it off when the plant is up and running

Growing seedlings can be a challenge when snails and slugs are around. We are looking forward to a great harvest this year thanks to our snail and slug trap/moat. We protected our plants without hurting pets, native animals or the environment.

Pumpkins and cucumbers doing well with the help of smoats filled with used coffee grounds and water. As well as controlling snails and slugs they help with watering and w**d control. Look at the growth in just a few weeks.

The rain has brought out the snails and slugs but our hostas continue to thrive. Look at how much they have grown! We have put used coffee grounds into our smoat to create a barrier that snails don’t like right around our plants. Stops the snails and slugs, doesn’t harm pets and wildlife.
