This was our first time trying resin for this mould. Mistakes and imperfections are the part of the journey. But not bad as a first trial I think.

A whisper of gold, a blush of dawn,
Colours dancing gently until the day is born.
Every pour teaches a little more than before,
One handmade piece… one dream growing evermore.

Yesterday’s resin session was all about exploring colour flow, translucency and shimmer.

This collection was created using layers of coral pink, pearly white and champagne gold mica, allowing the pigments to move naturally through the clear resin rather than forcing perfect lines. Every swirl and every blend is unique, which is one of the beautiful things about handmade resin art.

I also experimented with creating glass-like transparent lids paired with soft marbled bases. I love how the warm gold catches the light while the pink brings a gentle, elegant feel. Together they remind me of a sunrise wrapped inside resin.

As with every creative journey, each piece teaches me something new. Next time I’d love to refine the edges a little more, minimise the tiny bubbles, and guide the colour flow even more intentionally. That’s the joy of handmade creations—every project is a step forward, and every pour brings new ideas.

🌊💡 A Lighthouse of Love 💡🌊

There are some gestures that speak louder than a thousand poems, and this one—this tall, delicate lighthouse—has left me speechless, full of gratitude, and deeply moved.

For the past three days and nights, my husband poured his heart and hands into this intricate wooden lighthouse. Piece by piece, tiny window by window, balcony by balcony—he shaped not just a model, but a testament to patience, creativity, and love.

Last night, while the world slept, he stayed up—eyes weary, hands steady, driven by something beyond the physical. And then, at the tender hour of Fajr, just as dawn broke and the world softened into light… he surprised me. A nearly completed lighthouse stood on the table, glowing in that early stillness, a silent love letter written not in words, but in wood and will.

I stood there, overwhelmed. This was no mere craft. This was a jewel—more precious than any gem or gold. Each tiny piece was placed with intention. Each corner, each window frame, carried with it the echo of a sleepless night and the quiet hum of devotion.

My heart swells with thankfulness, gratefulness, and uncontainable pride. I see in this lighthouse a reflection of the man I married: resilient, thoughtful, and full of quiet, powerful love. His act wasn’t about grand gestures or fleeting glamour. It was about care. Precision. Presence.

To everyone reading this: Appreciate the love languages that don't always come wrapped in ribbons. Sometimes, love looks like staying up all night building something just to make your partner smile. Sometimes, it’s silent. Sometimes, it looks like this lighthouse—standing tall, built slowly, full of light.
