Our studio has always been fascinated by the interplay between music and the way it shapes our interiors.

Just as a song can evoke a memory, a mood, or a feeling, an album cover can be a visual portal — full of colour, texture, and atmosphere — that inspires the spaces we create.

When it came time to reimagine our brand, we knew the palette had to reflect who we are at our core. Naturally, we looked to the natural world — the same way we do when creating colour stories for our clients.

I experienced a creative block while rethinking Harbour Interiors’ colour palette. My mind kept drifting to the obvious blues, but they didn’t feel inherently “us.” Then, on a walk, I was captivated by a plant charmingly named Dusty Miller (also known as Silver Ragwort) - thanks google lens - a coastal plant admired for its soft silvery foliage and resilience by the ocean.

Its muted sea greens and deep berry undertones felt immediately right. I took a photo and couldn’t wait to get home to pick out each tone I saw within this magical plant. And just like that, our perfect palette was born. We hope you love it as much as we do!

By grounding our brand — and our interiors — in the hues of the natural environment, we celebrate the connection between nature and design, creating spaces that feel calm, authentic, and enduring.
