Strawberry watermelon smoothie. The perfect after-school snack, especially in summer.
Strawberries and watermelons are packed with vitamins and antioxidants, while the highly nutritious chia seeds also pack an impressive amount of fibre.
Ingredients
🍓 1½ cups fresh watermelon, cubed
🍓 1 cup frozen strawberries
🍓 ½ banana, chopped and frozen
🍓 ½ cup almond milk
🍓 1 lime, juiced
🍓 1 tbsp chia seeds
Method
Blend all ingredients in a blender until creamy and smooth. Add more almond milk for a thinner consistency or more strawberries or ice to thicken.
Serves 2–3
