In a world full of things, how do you choose the one thing your mum would truly love? ✨

You can’t go wrong with handmade.

Every piece at Foundry has been created slowly and thoughtfully by artists and makers from our region - gifts made with care, character and heart.

Handmade ceramics, jewellery, textiles, artwork and small treasures - all made with intention by local creatives.

If you’re looking for something meaningful this Mother’s Day, we’ve got you sorted.

Open Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm
Saturday 10am-1pm

Plenty of time to find something thoughtful for Mum 🤍

In 2024, Foundry came close to closing our doors.

When we asked for help, this community showed up for us with extraordinary generosity. Because of that support, we’re still here today — continuing to create space for local artists, makers and community connection. We’ll never forget it.

So when another community-led arts space is under threat, it feels deeply important to stand beside them. Supporting local galleries, shops and creative hubs is something close to our hearts.

We’ve made a donation to help Briagolong Art Gallery through their GoFundMe campaign, and we’d love to encourage others who are able to do the same.

If East Gippsland taught us anything, it’s that small acts of generosity can keep important places alive. ✨

Save the date ✨

We have another beautiful exhibition lined up in our Hallway Gallery - Belonging, featuring work by Penny Gray and Margot Porter.

Join us for the opening:
Friday 17 April
5.00 – 6.30pm

Belonging draws together the work of Penny and Margot, inviting you into their creative reflections on what it means to belong.

Through gel plate printing and collage, the exhibition explores personal and shared experiences of place, connection and identity — and perhaps what belonging might mean for you.

We’d love to see you there 🤍

Threshold ✨

Built around the idea that crossing a threshold means stepping into change, this exhibition brings together new works by Deb Jemmeson & Pauline Crunden.

Art as reflection. Art as resilience.

A bit of friendship and encouragement helped make this show happen — and we’re so glad it did.

Showing until 28 March in our Hallway Gallery.

We’re delighted to announce our upcoming Hallway Gallery exhibition, Threshold, by Deb Jemmeson and Pauline Crunden ✨

To cross a threshold is to experience change. Following recent surgical experiences, both artists found art to be a space for reflection and repair.
In this exhibition, Deb and Pauline use surface, line and colour to explore re-imagination. Threshold brings together two-dimensional works that reflect moments of pause, resilience and possibility.

Please join us in celebrating this beautiful body of work this Friday evening, 6 February.

Opening 6.2.26 – 28.3.26

Finding Foundry ✨

A few glimpses of our work currently showing at .

Like Foundry, Meeniyan Art Gallery is a volunteer-run space, and we share a deep understanding of how vital these community-led places are for supporting artists and local culture.

It’s been a joy bringing (East Gippsland) to South Gippsland, and we’d love to see you tomorrow (Sun 1 Feb) at 2pm for an artist meet & greet - a chance to connect, chat and spend time with the work.
