Somewhere between buying a cactus and accidentally coming home with a 70-year-old chair… you end up in this stall.

This place is an absolute mash-up in the best possible way. You’ve got cacti, indoor plants and hanging greenery sitting alongside old furniture, rusty garden pieces, ceramics and random vintage stuff that looks like it’s got about fifteen stories attached to it.

It’s the kind of stall where you walk in looking for a plant and five minutes later you’re seriously considering whether you need an antique piece of farm equipment in your backyard.

And honestly… that’s exactly why we love this market.

Come in for a cactus. Leave with something your partner definitely didn’t approve.

Now this is travelling in style!

We get some pretty cool visitors rolling into the market, but this setup definitely caught our attention today.

If you’re travelling through Ballarat, make sure you add Ballarat Vintage & Collectables Market to the itinerary. Whether you’re towing a caravan, travelling in a motorhome or just passing through on a road trip, we’ve got plenty of parking and plenty to explore once you’re inside.

With stalls packed with vintage, collectables, clothing, toys, records, antiques and all sorts of unexpected finds, it’s an easy place to lose an hour or two.

So if Ballarat is on your travels, pull in, stretch the legs and have a wander. You never know what you’ll find.

And Dave, that blue setup is seriously cool.

Hard to walk past this big vintage leopard without stopping for a look. Plenty of character, plenty of colour, and definitely one of those pieces that would completely change a room.

If bold vintage decor is your thing, Stall 2244 is worth a wander through.
