For Gabriel & Lilou last Friday ❤️ If rain on your wedding day is good luck, then these two have it in spades! A cake delivery however that I would like not to repeat in a hurry! From two of the same addresses in gps sending me in the wrong direction initially, followed by two failed attempts to reach the venue, thwarted each time by raging floodwaters over the roads, all the while with torrential rain, no cellphone coverage to call the venue, gps dipping in and out, petrol eventually running low, I finally delivered this cake, more than 2 hours later than I’d set out to. On my way home, I received notification to collect my daughter from school (on her birthday) as the school was in threat of flooding and was being evacuated. What a day!
