🚗🌿 THE GREAT SWAN VALLEY PACKING CHALLENGE! 😂

Remember me worrying about whether I'd fit everything into my new car for the Swan Valley Home & Garden Fair?

Well, today was the moment of truth! 😳

Containers full of plants, quirky planters, propagation stations, handmade timber goodies, new stock, old favourites, and goodness knows what else!

All sitting there waiting to be packed into a car with a boot SMALLER than my old one! 🤦‍♀️

A bit of rearranging, some creative packing and possibly a little bit of magic later...

IT ALL FIT!!! 🎉🚗🌿

Who needs a degree in engineering when you've got years of experience playing Tetris? 😂

So we're packed and ready for TWO lovely days at the Swan Valley Home & Garden Fair!

🌿 Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October

🌿 THE GLAMOROUS LIFE OF A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER! 😂😭

Just TWO DAYS until the Swan Valley Home & Garden Fair, and today I decided to do a trial run of my stall setup in the back garden.

Two trestle tables, lots of plants, new goodies, plenty of rearranging, and everything was looking rather lovely! 😍

Including my gorgeous new $80 Monstera leaf social media sign, which was all ready to make its very first public appearance.

Was being the operative word. 😭

While packing everything away, I dropped it.

CRACK! 💔

One beautiful Monstera leaf became TWO rather expensive pieces of Monstera leaf! 🌿😂

So tonight's entertainment involves superglue, crossed fingers and possibly a few choice words!

Fingers crossed it survives surgery and makes it to the Fair this weekend. 🤞

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has these little disasters just before a big event! 😂

🎄🌿 CHRISTMAS PLANT BABYSITTING SERVICE! 😂💚

Bought someone a plant for Christmas? Now where on earth are you going to hide it? 🎁😂

Under the bed? In the wardrobe? Behind the couch?

And who's going to remember to water the poor thing between now and Christmas Day? 🤣

Well, here's an idea!

🎅 LET ME DO THE BABYSITTING! 🌿

This Christmas, Perth Plantspiration is offering a special BUY NOW, COLLECT FOR CHRISTMAS service!

Here's how it works:

🎁 Choose your perfect plant gift from our lovely collection, either at one of our November markets or from our Banksia Grove home shop.

💚 Pay in full to secure your gift. No minimum purchase required!

🌿 Leave it with me, and I'll look after your plant, keeping it watered, healthy and happy until it's time to go to its new home.

🎄 Collect your gift from Banksia Grove by Wednesday 23rd December, by appointment.

And the best bit?

THE PLANT BABYSITTING IS COMPLETELY FREE! 💚

Perfect for those gorgeous animal planters, quirky cactus gifts, ceramic book planters and other plant gifts that deserve a little TLC before Christmas.

No hiding plants in dark cupboards, no worrying about watering and no accidentally giving someone a rather sad-looking Christmas present! 😂

Of course, if you're buying a gift without a plant, I'm happy to keep that safe for you too.

🛍️ Shop early, secure your favourites and leave the looking after to me!

📍 Perth Plantspiration, Banksia Grove
📩 Message me to arrange your Christmas gift purchase and collection.

Because the only thing you should be keeping alive this Christmas is the Christmas spirit! 🎄😂💚

🌿 ARE YOU MISSING OUT ON SOME PLANT HAPPINESS? 🌿

I've got a little question for my lovely plant-loving followers! 💚🪴

Did you know that Perth Plantspiration now has over 3,000 followers on Facebook? 🥳 That's a lot of lovely plant people, and I'm so grateful for every one of you!

BUT... here's the frustrating bit! 🤔

Facebook has something called an algorithm, which decides which posts appear in your news feed.

So even though you follow my page, you probably only see a small selection of what I post! 😢

If you regularly comment or interact with my posts, you're more likely to see them. But even then, Facebook doesn't show you everything.

And that means you could be missing out on something GOOD! 😱

🌱 Special plant sales and offers
🐮 Cute new planters and gift ideas
🪵 Paul's latest handmade recycled timber creations
🛍️ Upcoming local markets and events
🌿 New plants arriving in my little shop.

SO, I'VE GOT AN IDEA! 💡

I'm thinking of sending out an occasional friendly email to anyone who'd like to keep up with what's happening at Perth Plantspiration.

Nothing fancy, and definitely no bombarding your inbox! Just a little plant news, special offers and updates so you don't miss out. 💚

Would you be interested?

If so, simply send me a private message with your email address and I'll happily add you to my mailing list.

And of course, you can unsubscribe whenever you like.

I'd love to keep in touch with more of you, especially those lovely followers who Facebook seems determined to keep me a secret from! 😂

Thanks for supporting my little local Perth business. It really does mean a lot. 💚

🌿😂 DOCTOR'S ORDERS: MORE PLANTS! 🪴💚

I wasn't feeling quite myself, so naturally I headed to the nursery for a little plant therapy! 🌱

Found just what I needed, picked up my prescription and headed home feeling much better.

Strangely, they called my prescription a receipt.

Whatever! 😂🤣

Possible side effects include:

🌿 An uncontrollable urge to buy more plants
🪴 Running out of room at home
💚 An instant improvement in mood
😂 A slightly lighter bank balance!

Anyone else self-medicating at the nursery? Asking for a friend! 🤣🌱
