Your support is very much appreciated! Thanks to those that did buy something, as now I don’t have to stress where the money is coming from to pay for some medications for Marci 💜

My crew did really well today.. not only am I proud of my lot, I am proud of how everyone did today 💜💜

Results for my lot:

- Hector 1st adult buck
- Draco 2nd adult buck
- Daphne 1st adult doe
- Gaia 2nd adult doe
- Marci 1st senior doe
- Rosie 2nd senior doe

Daphne also received best adult and Marci also best senior as well as runner up pet rat 🏆

Marci has now accumulated enough points to be a champion rat too 🥰

So it’s been a while huh!?
Life has been busy, uni has certainly taken up a lot of my time of late.

In recent news, I took on miss Lychie here.

She’s legally Lychie and not Lychee, as I already have a Lychee in the vet system. So different spelling to make it less confusing.

The rats are well, happy and chaos as usual!

Hello, it’s been a while!! 🥰

Life has been busy so we have been a bit quiet online.. 😣

However we have a lot of hammocks in stock that would be better enjoyed with rats in them 🐀

So we are having a 15% off sale of our hammocks, snuggle sacks and also the sweet ratty plush.

Money is tight at the moment, I get it, but I’m also in the position of possibly having to take Alice in for surgery on Monday for a pyometra 😬

So hoping to raise a little money to help with associated costs.

There is also the option to donate online too, should you wish to chip in a bit of cash but have no rats to buy hammocks for! However I do not expect people to do so, it’s just a hope that maybe some people may be able to help out 💜

(also, if we can’t move on stock, we don’t have the capacity to make new stock 😭)

Make sure your rats are keeping cool in this heat!

Activities like pea fishing are great for that 😌

Frozen cans in the cage can be good too. Just make sure to run them under water before hand so any tongues don’t stick to the can should they lick them.

Be sure to look out for signs of heat stress which include drooling, lethargy, weakness and high body temperature .
Rats will pancake themselves out to try and cool off, or lay on their back with legs up in the air.

Make sure you are doing what you can to prevent heart stress, and to keep them cool.
