I’ve been holding onto this design for a while, waiting for the perfect moment. You know that feeling when you keep something safe, thinking, “I’ll save this for something truly special”

Well, when my best friend reached out looking for a piece for her business, I knew instantly that this was exactly where it belonged.

As an artist, putting your stories and designs out there is always a journey, but seeing the final product makes it all worth it.

The Kingfishers gear arrived this week and I couldn’t be happier with how the details have come together.

“I’m just not creative.” 👩‍🎨✨
If I had a dollar for every time someone walked into the class and said this, I’d have a very full piggy bank!

It’s the ultimate myth we tell ourselves: that art is only for a chosen few.
But watching that shift happen is the absolute best part of what I do.

They start out a little nervous, holding the brush like it might bite. Then, the music kicks in, the coffee flows, and the storytelling begins. Before they know it, they aren’t thinking about ‘rules’ anymore they’re just creating.

Then at the end to see what our ‘not crafty’ crew made, Absolute masterpieces!

😍🎨 Trust the process, trust your hands, and never underestimate what you can create when you just let yourself be in the moment .

Today’s class was all about turning ordinary chopping boards and coasters into functional masterpieces.

We might have spent a little extra time in the “planning and procrastinating” phase, but once the inspiration hit, there was no stopping these ladies!

A massive thanks to Janie for opening up her gorgeous space for today’s class . I couldn’t have asked for a better setup!
