✨ Paper Pumpkin is so much more than just making the cards exactly as they appear in the kit!

For this August Paper Pumpkin alternate, I used lots of the beautiful elements from the kit and added just a little Basic White and Lost Lagoon cardstock from my craft stash.

The Lost Lagoon contrast layer creates such a striking background, while the soft Petal Pink stitched circle brings the whole focal point together beautifully. That circle was cut using the coordinating dies designed to work across the July, August and September Paper Pumpkin kits—such a clever way to get even more creative possibilities from your subscription! 🩵🩷

This is what I love about Paper Pumpkin: with just a few additional supplies, you can completely change the layout, stretch your kit further and create cards that feel uniquely yours.

✨ Would you ever think to use a die-cut layer as a stencil?

For this alternate Paper Pumpkin card, I used the beautiful detailed die-cut layer with my Blending Brushes to create that soft, delicate background behind the focal point—and I absolutely love how it turned out! 😍

I added a Pool Party contrast layer and brought in our gorgeous new In Color, Crisp Cantaloupe, for those pretty pops of colour. Such a lovely combination! 🩵🧡

It’s always fun finding unexpected ways to stretch the pieces in our Paper Pumpkin kits and create something completely different.
