Mr G has been out in his workshop this week creating gorgeous coffee bean storage containers.
The timber came from a very old Oregon desk that was destined to be taken to the tip more than 20 years ago.
He pulled it to pieces, removed the old varnish, screws and nails, put it through the thicknesser and did his magic with the wood.
There was quite a bit of maths that went into it working out the volume for the beans to fit a kilo of beans in perfectly.
The internal is left raw and the outside is finished with scandinavian oil.
