It’s October!!!! This means I get to start my yearly fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Foundation! Last year I raised just over $4,000 which was my biggest yet - let’s see if we can beat it this year 🤞
Why do I do this? For my Mum…. Simple!
2 years ago, was the hardest year ever for our family. My mum got diagnosed with stage 3, triple negative breast cancer. That day I got told, I will never forget! My world just crumbled right into front of me. Being the only daughter I just went straight into “fix it” mode. Did the researching. I had no idea what type of cancer it was. I was with Mum every step of the way… even 2 years later I’m tearing up writing this 😢
After a double mastectomy, lymph node removal, ICU admissions and a time there we almost lost our mum…. She pulled through! How? We are unsure and so are the doctors to be honest! She says it’s from all the love as she could feel it….
Fast forward to today…. Mum is currently on an overseas trip with my dad visiting her home of Norway and is about to walk the Camino with my brother! She stronger, we are stronger!
Cancer messed with the wrong Mum 💪
As you can see by one of my photos…. I am fundraising with my water plants of course… these are pre orders….. and will be available to pick up from the 8th-10th October. If you don’t wish to get a plant, I will add my fundraising link also 🙂
