Stellar Crafts Exhibition
This quilt/wall hanging by Jenny Gifkins will be on display at this exhibition. It depicts Japanese family crests (Kamons) and Jenny has incorporated some recycled kimonos, along with Japanese yukata fabrics. Jenny's passion is using Japanese Textiles in her creations.
Roger Gifkins fine Woodwork and Astrophotography will also be on display.

In 1990, Roger was commissioned to make 37 elaborate boxes for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Auckland. Amongst other recipients, these boxes were presented to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Edward, Prime Minister Palmer of NZ and the Governor-General of NZ. One of these boxes will be on display at the Stellar Crafts Exhibition, Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery, from 1st to 19th April, Wednesday to Sunday, 10:30 to 4:00.
