✨ A Little Update From Anne ✨

After a lot of thought (and a few blocks of chocolate), I’ve decided it’s time for a gentle change around here. As you all know The Cotton Chick is now in the safe hands of Terrie - please support her and jump on to The Cotton Chick - Chunky Yarn Australia.

I won’t be finger knitting anymore, but I didn’t want to say goodbye to this beautiful little community we’ve built together. This page has always been about more than just one thing — it’s been about creativity, connection, handmade goodness and showing up as me.

What does The Dreamer Chick mean?
It means a space where I can still share, create, dream, and maybe even make a few handmade goodies along the way — without being boxed into one label.

Hi everyone, Terrie here. I just wanted to touch base with you all and thank you for your patience in this hand over period from Anne to myself.
I live on a small rural property in the sth-west of WA with my husband Ant. Our 3 kids have all left home.
So as a new empty nester I found myself looking for something creative to do. That was when I discovered finger knitting and loved it.
The decision to take on this fantastic operation was only made about 3 weeks ago over a phone conversation about yarn with Anne.
Ant and I were about to drive across the Nullarbor to NSW and VIC so we decided to call in and see Anne and start the business handover.
Unfortunately our time over East was limited, so it was decided to ship the stock back to WA then do the final handover when we got back home.
This means unfortunately that 🐥The cotton Chick won’t be available for a short period of time as I make my way home and complete the handover and set up.
On a positive note I have just placed a large order to restock all the colours that we had sold out of in Anne’s massive sale.
So hopefully it shouldn’t be too much longer before the website is back up and running and all our beautiful yarn is available once again.

I am so excited to share that The Cotton Chick lives on! 🎉 Our gorgeous Chunky Chenille Yarn is spreading its wings and heading back to Western Australia as we speak! 🪶

The lovely Terrie will soon be the new face behind The Cotton Chick, keeping all your favourite yarns and DIY Kits coming your way 🧶✨

Please give Terrie a warm welcome and a little time to get everything ready — she’s going to do amazing things! 💪✨

Terrie is in the process of heading back to WA, so we will be bringing down the website just for a wee while, but before you know it, she’ll be ready to help you Join the Finger Knitting Revolution!🙌
