A Window Worth Preserving 🍂

Some windows deserve more than a replacement.

As part of the transformation of this beautiful Bendigo home into The Skin House | Bendigo Aesthetics, the brief was clear - retain the character and appearance of the original window while creating something built to last.

Our team crafted a new Australian hardwood double hung/fixed timber window to faithfully replicate the original. A key part of the project was replicating the original diamond lead-light glazing, preserving one of the building’s defining features and restoring the timber trim work.

From the careful removal of the original window through to the installation of the new one, every stage was completed with respect for the building’s original character and attention to detail.

We’re proud to have played a small part in helping bring this beautiful building into its next chapter.

At Timber Collective Co., we’re proud to bring together a mix of experience, practical skills, and fresh enthusiasm.

Ben and Ruth lead the business as husband-and-wife directors, with Ben bringing years of experience as a Registered Builder and a strong background in joinery. Alongside them are Alex, our skilled joiner, Owen, our apprentice who is building on his carpentry training, Mikayla, who keeps everything running smoothly in administration, and James, who manages administration, IT, and our Solatube and VELUX stock.

Every member of our team plays an important role in helping deliver the craftsmanship, communication, and service our clients can rely on.
