There’s nothing like walking through a finished project.

This is the kitchen in the new display home for Hotondo Homes, officially open now and photos coming soon.

Working with the team from Hotondo as well as the fabulous V Stone we created something really unique with this kitchen and it’s all in the detailing. While you can’t see it in this video, VStone added a brass inlay to the bench top unlike anything else you’ll see in Bendigo. They made my wishes come true! You’ll will just have to visit to see it in person.

What a big 3 days for awards! On the weekend I headed to Sydney for the KBDi awards as a finalist for the Victorian Kitchen designer of the year and first time entrant.

No wins (again!) but being one of the only (maybe the only) regional designers, it was incredibly exciting to be in the mix!

It’s been quite the few days! On Thursday, I took 2 hot dates to the Bendigo Business Community business awards as a finalist in 3 categories. No category wins (although wondering if there is an award for being a finalist 5 times over the last few years - and no wins!) but having my beautiful best friends beside me was my favourite win!

Now that I've been a client at myself, I can say firsthand, this space is every bit as luxe and serene as it looks and planned it to be.

Turns out we have a lot of mutual clients too! People come in for their appointment, love the space, then come to me wanting the similar finishes for their own.

Genuinely one of my favourite projects to design, and it's left me wanting more so if you're building a beauty, hair or florist space (or anything in that commercial world), Nest is your girl.

Our client loves white, and this new build, modern farmhouse in rural Victoria honours that.

Stunning herringbone timber floors, Carrara marble, warm walnut, textured carpet and soft tones keep the base honest and true to what they wanted. But it's the quiet moments of colour layered in through material and finish, that give the space its personality. White at its core, character in the details.
