In a world filled with screens and instant everything there’s something really special about getting kids outside, hands in the garden and learning how nature works. Let’s raise children who can think seasons ahead instead of seconds. Because every seed collected today means flowers or food for tomorrow. 💚🌱

Wow… what a week it’s been! 😅

I started the week in hospital thought I was having a heart attack. (Thankfully, all is fine.) Maybe it was the shock of turning 40! 😬

Since then, I’ve spent some much needed downtime in Daylesford with my boys. Celebrating another trip around the sun and reflecting on just how grateful I am for the life we’ve built together.

I am incredibly grateful for the community we’ve built both online and offline. It is one of the kindest most supportive corners of the internet and I never take that for granted.

My dad has always said, “Life begins at 40.” I understand what he means now. I’m stepping into this next decade with hope, gratitude a little bit of crazy and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

I found an old video of baby Jack wishing happy birthday to our very first sunflower as it started to open 🌻

No prompting. No script.
Just pure childhood wonder.

To him that flower blooming was something worth celebrating. And we’ve celebrated them ever since.

Funny how one tiny moment can become part of a family story 💫
