Since my announcement that I am closing down after almost 18 years, I have been inundated with orders. Thank you so much!

My bead draws are certainly looking empty, although there is still plenty still available but be quick!

After almost 18 years it’s time to close my bead business for now.

The world has changed a lot since I started my little business. The cost of beads has risen, international shipping doubled, Etsy fees have more than doubled and well the the added tariffs.

I’v put so much work into my business over the years but for now my passion for photography is stronger.

I’m so greatful to everyone who has supported my dream. The beads have gotten me through a lot of mental health struggles and for that I will be forever thankful!

But for now I need to following my photo journey. It feels right.

Small business has been tough for many. I’m still not sure what the future holds for my little bead store, but for now I’ll have it running in the background until I decide.

After 17 years, I have decided to put my bead business on pause and see what happens with my photography journey I’m currently on.

With the rising cost of beads, shipping, the tariffs and my small profit margins, I have become more and more unwell. My body is telling me I need a break and I am going to finally listen.

I’m starting to feel the passion slide. I feel I am on a treadmill, running as fast as I can for little gain or reward.

I’ll temporarily close my shop (not sure how long for) this Friday the 18th.

It’s time to have some down time.

Thank you! Although being sick this week, I’ve been busy with bead and jewellery orders!

I think I’ve sold more handmade jewellery this year than previous years.
