Our mid-year event 'La Petite Brocante' is just a few days away where for two days the Canungra School of Arts will be packed to the rafters with vintage items for the house, garden and wardrobe, as well as local artisans from around the Scenic Rim.

Dates: Saturday 25 & Sunday, 26 July 2026.
Time: 8am to 1pm both days.
Venue: Canungra School of Arts Hall, Pine Street, CANUNGRA 4275
Entry: $5

Please come and support this beautiful and so worthwhile event on Saturday, 8 August 2026 in aid of Mary of the Angelus Community Inc.

Venue: Newrybar Community Hall.
Time: 8.30am to 1pm

In short, the organisation is committed to supporting women experiencing homelessness, or those of experiencing the same, by providing safe, shared accommodation and support.

The housing provides safe, supportive and shared accommodation for those over the age of 55 at risk of homelessness. Their community based not-for-profit 'Adopt-a-House' program transforms existing properties into welcoming homes. In turn, this offers stability for low income residents, fosters independence, as well as a sense of belonging in ordinary neighbourhoods.

Thevintageandcountrybrocante will be visiting to offer our support and no doubt, come home with a few new treasures.

We hope to bump into some familiar faces.
