Great chopping boards made from locally sourced Tasmanian Oak. Things are better when they are made from wood, WETHINKS. If you're using glass chopping boards you are going to blunt your fancy knives that you paid too much for, probably taken in by one of those 60% off specials down on the High Street. Seriously, dont buy anything until you check the price online. Yeah, nobody ever paid $1200 for

that set, fool. Plastic boards? Yeah if you like a side of aged bacteria with every meal. Your dinner guest: "Whats the secret ingredient?" You: "Some tag-along germs, you've probably never heard for them" (You're a hipster). Aside from being genuinely useful and awesome, our chopping boards are good for just putting down and looking at them. And you can buy them in a bundle to save you having to pick a favourite (psst, meat board, its YOU) because really you've got lots of decisions to make and we are here to help.

A few weeks ago I built and installed this lovely bit of cabinetry. I think you will agree that this is such a better use of space, so much more storage with adjustable shelving behind every door!

The client is going to do the painting for this one!

Almost finished the alfresco kitchen, and making huge inroads into two other massive projects!

Tasmanian Oak really truly is some of the nicest timber going around. This lovely display cabinet really has completed Jon’s man cave!

This piece brings a huge amount of warmth to the space, and that amazing green felt on the walls make everything feel calm!!

Saturday delivery are pretty good!

A quick happy snap of the Tasmanian Oak wardrobe that was installed this week - I love it more than I probably should!

Having the grain run through the doors and drawers make such a massive difference to the overall look!

Geeez I look tired, probably because it’s been another big week in the workshop. Another example of how ‘Wood is Good!’ - this un-finished Tasmanian Oak wardrobe is looking pretty amazing at the moment and will only get better with some sanding and oil.

Busy busy day today - I didn’t watch the soccer today as playing for a draw is boring. But wardrobes, bookshelf and under stair cupboard things are pretty good!

The wardrobe is going to have solids Tasmanian Oak fronts on it - next weeks job - and the cupboard will be painted.

Timber, like us, is not perfect. So it takes a great deal of patience, time and experience to get the best out of it.

Working with solid Timber is more than just machines and skills, it’s about understanding how the timber is going to react and listening to that - it’s also why woodworkers are great lovers 😂😂😂
