Lark & Owl make unique home wares, furniture and 100% soy wax hand-poured vegan candles in Perth, Western Australia. Our furniture and home wares are made from reclaimed and up-cycled timber including: used oak wine barrels (sourced locally), timber from building demolitions, and timber from land clearing for new housing. In many cases this timber would be burnt or sent to landfill - instead, we s

alvage it and turn it into something beautiful! Lark & Owl hand-poured candles are vegan which means they have not been tested on animals and do not contain any animal products (no beeswax, animal fats etc). They are 100% soy wax - we do not use any palm oil in our products. The essential oils and fragrances we use are also vegan friendly. We are proud to be making quality gifts and furniture here in WA. Well hello there!! It's been a while hasn't it?!
I know what you're thinking...... you're thinking "I wish Lark & Owl had a few log propagators ready to go, because I need one for a last minute Christmas gift".
Well, it's your lucky day!! We have a small stash of log propagators (first 3 pics) at $50 each, and a stack of Bambinos (last pic) at $30 each.
These will be available for collection right up until the 24th (or until they are sold out).

Hello to all of our lovely followers!
You might have noticed we've been very quiet on our social media lately - we've been dealing with some 'big life stuff' lately, so we've made the decision to take a little break.
But never fear - we'll be back to business just in time for Christmas!
The website will still be up and running, so if you have any queries or requests, don't hesitate to reach out to us. A massive thanks to each and every one of you for being such amazing customers these last eight years - you've been fantastic.

I mean, just look at it - such a pretty design, it's made with wine barrels sourced from a winery in the Margaret River Wine Region and holds up to 28 bottles of wine.

Hello faithful friends! It's been a hot minute since we last posted - because we've been making some big changes in the background!
After a few years of "umming" and "ahhing", we have made the tough decision to discontinue our candle and home fragrance range.
Over the coming months we will also be phasing out our wine barrel furniture and homewares, along with the serving boards and cheese knives and all other kitchen items.
We are sad to be leaving these parts of the business behind, but it's the right move for us, so that we can focus on our log propagation range!

How good are these beauties?! 😍
Dom put the finishing touches on these over the weekend - and soon they'll be off to in Fremantle!! They are a great gift for that 'difficult to buy for' person, they are unisex and they are handmade with sustainably sourced timber. What more could you ask for??
If you're thinking of Christmas gifts, you could pair it with their favourite tea leaves/coffee beans and an artisan made block of chocolate (also available at The Artisan Store Fremantle).

How was your weekend friends?
We finished off this gorgeous Bar Table & Bar Stool set for a customer, and put the finishing touches on eight of the incredibly popular Timber Keep Cups. We also prepped a huge pile of propagators, which I'll be working on all this week to get finished and into our stockists!

We're having a flash sale!!

All candles are now 40% off - meaning you only pay $18 for one of our delish, divine, deluxe soy wax candles. Lucky you!!!

There are a couple of catches - the first is that it is for local pickup only - collection from either Spearwood or South Fremantle. And the second is that it is for existing poured stock only - once these bad boys are sold, we won't be pouring any more at this price!! I'll pop a full list of glassware options and fragrances in the comments.

So why not treat yourself, or someone else?! At this price, they are great as stocking stuffers or secret Santa gifts for that upcoming seasonal event I won't mention...

A nice little set-up sporting one of our custom log propagators (how adorable are the turned timber mushrooms that we added?!), and one of our stunning Wine Barrel Head clocks. Oooooeeeeeeeeeee!!

It's been a pretty rough month over at the Lark & Owl headquarters after the death of a loved one, but we are slowly getting back into the groove of things. Thanks to everybody for your patience with us during this time!
If you have been waiting on log propagators, these have been restocked at the Innaloo store today. Next up, we'll be restocking with propagators, and very soon we'll be sending the goodies pictured above to along with some trinket boxes and a couple of other bits and bobs!
